I’ve been spending the past hour or so working through a lot of issues. Some I just thought through in my head, other’s I emailed Jill about, and others still I posted on a Christian forum.

I would like to let you know about The Prayer Room. If you need prayer for anything, just a quick registration, and you can post anonymously and recieve prayer from many across the world.

I read an article about how prayer doesn’t work. I have to say, in the writer’s case, it does not work. It takes a relationship with God for prayer to work. You cannot walk up to a surgeon and ask him to do a double bypass on your grandpa without consultation first. Many people assume prayer is like an Ask and You Shall Recieve Whatever You Want, Even That Nice Crovette kinda thing. It just doesn’t work that way.

When you pray, there are somethings you gotta keep in mind. First, you have to believe. Second, you have to be sincere. The two mean radically different things. Think about it.

That’s all I have for tonight.

And after all of my alibis desert me
I just want to get by
I don’t want nothing to hurt me
I had no idea where my head was at
But if my heart says I’m sorry can we leave it at that
Because I just want for all of this to end

And I so hate consequences
And running from you is what my best defense is
Oh God, don’t make me face up to this
And I so hate consequences
And running from you is what my best defense is
Cause I know that I let you down
And I don’t want to deal with that
